1. Baseline C pool in natural ecosystems;
2. Historic loss of C upon conversion of natural to managed ecosystems;
3. Changes in C pool by adoption of recommended land use and management;
4. Ecosystem restoration (e.g., degraded soils, desertified lands, drained wetlands) and C pool;
5. Land application of biosolids (e.g., agricultural, industrial and urban by-products);
